Children

We're so glad you're visiting our website.

Welcome to the Children’s Ministry of Dallas Bay Baptist Church.  We as a ministry are here to serve your children in grades k-5 with exciting, fun, biblically based activities.  When you enter Dallas Bay on a Sunday morning your child will participate in our Children’s Worship time in which we use our “Elevate” curriculum. This time consists of an energy filled time with music, drama, Bible story and skit.  We then divide into our age appropriate small groups for continued learning of the days topics. On Sunday evening during the school year your child will be able to join us for our AWANA program.  A program of Bible learning, games and Bible memorization. Sunday nights during the summer are a time of fun, games and Bible learning.  During this time we do topical studies for our children.

Because Dallas Bay wants to reach the community for Christ, we have several special events throughout the year.  Some of those events include KidsXplosion, Easter Eggstravaganza, Parent’s Night Out, DBBC University, Terrific Tuesdays, Breakfast with the Angels, and Summer Camp.  These events enable us to reach the community and give our children different types of worship experiences.

CHECK-IN SYSTEM INFORMATION
Each family is assigned an ID card (much like at Bi-Lo) with your family information that will need to be scanned each Sunday morning when you bring your child to worship/Sunday school.  Your child is given an identification sticker to wear and the parents are given a matching sticker.  You MUST present your sticker when you pick up your child.  If lost, parents will need to fill out some paperwork before they can take their child(ren).  This is done for the safety of our children.  This system will also be used during Wednesday night KidzPraize.  All visitors will need to stop by the children's information desk to sign in/out your child.
